Nasal airflow and brain activity

I came across this really interesting article while preparing for a lecture that I am giving to students on a Yoga teacher training qualification.

Price and Eccles explore the ultradian nasal cycle and the bidirectional relationship between nasal airflow and brain hemispherical activity.

This is particularly interesting for those yogis and yoginis practising Pranayama that manipulates nasal airflow (Anuloma Viloma etc.).

It always fascinates me how modern science now explores and demonstrates the ancient wisdom of Yoga.
